- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup cream
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ cup Gruyère or semi-mature cheese, grated
- Salt (to taste)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat the AirFryer to 390°F (199°C).
- Slice the Potatoes wafer-thin using a knife or mandolin for even cooking.
- Mix the Cream Sauce:
In a bowl, combine the milk, cream, black pepper, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. - Coat the Potatoes:
Add the potato slices into the bowl and coat thoroughly with the cream mixture. - Layer in Baking Pan:
Transfer the coated potato slices into a 6-inch baking pan.
Pour any remaining cream mixture from the bowl over the top. - First Bake:
Place the pan in the AirFryer basket. Slide it in and set the timer for 15 minutes. - Add Cheese:
After 15 minutes, remove the basket and evenly sprinkle grated cheese over the top. - Final Bake:
Return the pan to the AirFryer and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. - Serve:
